VW Tiguan: Towing mirrors

Hi is there anyone out there with a VW Tiguan as their tow vehicle and if so, which are the best caravan towing mirrors to use because our last four cars have been Honda CRVs which all had large wing mirrors whereas this new car (only got it yesterday 👍😊) has quite small ones so our usual 'add-on mirrors' don't fix on so we will need to get some others before towing.  HELP!

Whilst the standard pads will fit on my 2014 Tig the 'f' pads make for a more secure fitting; indeed, I towed with my Tig for a year before I heard of these pads. They are made to cater for the slight differnce in height between the black edge and the main body of the mirror and have a bit that goes into the small gap.  For the sake of a few pound they give a better and secure fit.

I am currently using the Milenco Aero on a Discovery Sport but I never like to rely solely on just the screw clamps. I buy the rubber mirror straps for about £1.50 from my local dealer (Bardsea Leisure) which attach  at one end to the arm holding the mirror and then have a clip at the other to hook onto the opposite edge of the car mirror housing. I like the extra security. If a mirror comes off at speed it could cause damage to the caravan body work. I personally have reservations about those attached with just suckers to the car mirror - a bit of dirt on the glass or wear on the sucker might reduce adhesion me thinks.

Thanks - I think I'll get some as with the difference in height between the two parts, the pads do sit at rather an awkquard angle
