Adding Web Links to Discussions

This is a request that when people add links into a discussion that they use the option to open link in new page. (dialogue box where you add the URL) This has the advantage that you will be less inclined to close the Club Together page down by mistake, resulting in having to log in again. This might not affect all systems but it can be a problem on Windows systems. It would be appreciated if people could take a few more seconds to use this facility.

Thanks

David

Fine, if it works.

Goodness it's a hardly a third world problem is it.

Just right click - if you can remember - and a link opens in a new tab.

Or use the back button if it doesn't.

Or if you forget and close that tab, open one up, and open up CT again.

Or just Google something someone has suggested.

Or are we all relying on everyone else to do all the 'looking up' for us?????

A little over the top WTG. For what was a very reasonable request from DK. He spends a lot of time on here both as a poster and moderator.

If it makes his life a little easier, then why not.

Maybe someone could help with a couple of shots of the LINK screen as it might help others to add links in the future.

So this whole thing is for the benefit of DK, is it, Steve? Pardon me but I think he’s well able to sort himself out.

I’m with WTG on this in that we do what we can but ultimately it’s down to the end user. Almost a state of caveat emptor.

For the benefit of many, including me. The reason why I do it
