Thought we would try watching some TV when we are on the continent, even local programmes, don’t want to spend thousands, would prefer an indoor arial alternatively an outside portable type. Have been a member for 37 years and have not watched any tv yet whilst we have been away.

any help would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Do you already have a TV Ariel on your motorhome which can pick up digital TV in the UK? If you have, then that will pick up continental digital TV signals. You will just need to tune your TV to the local channels.

If you want to watch UK programmes you will need a satellite dish, which is a whole different discussion!

We have a 16" flat screen tv bought in Asda a few years ago for £80. Works off caravan aerial well and also works well off portable satellite system bought in Maplin for £80. Have received French tv in France with it too.

Bit late but thanks for your replies, and will try as advised, we do have a tv in MH but no aerial.
