I am a newbie and I have purchased a 1990 Abbey 215 GT. The first mistake I made was buying a caravan which is slightly too heavy for my car to tow.......however I have decided that for this season I will be putting the caravan on a site in fife for the season to let me enjoy the caravan life and save up for a new car.
I had a friend lined up to tow the caravan from my storage site to the caravan site on Wed 21st March but his car has recently been written off and I have not been able to find an alternative method to arrange for the caravan to be moved.
I have contacted a towing service but they are fully booked well into April. I have tried to find a hire company for tow cars with no luck.
can anyone help me. I am open to any suggestions !!!
