Ah, I see, you have to click on > sign to bring up the options.

No change for me, Brue. Perhaps it's device specific.

Yes, how weird, I was on my Android phone earlier, totally different from the laptop I'm using just now.

The OP posted in February that the site was very slow.  It’s still painfully slow.  It would appear that either the IT team at CAMC don’t care about the user experience or they are being denied the resources they need to fix the problem.  I wonder which it is?

As I understand it the server side of the Club IT operations is contracted out which I expect rather ties the hands of Club staff. Obviously money is probably at the root cause but Club management have to strike a reasonable balance on that score. Their main concern will be that the booking side of the site takes priority. Even if we moved the forum away from the main website by using stand alone software it would still need supporting by sufficient server capacity which can be very expensive. We have muddled along like this for, what is it, nine and a half years!!!!

you say that David as though the booking side of the side runs well ... it doesn't. It's as slow & cumbersome as CT

I don’t personally have any issues with the booking side of the site. Occasionally it might run a little slow if a lot of folk are booking. However, that will probably be true of most holiday type sites at the moment. It was certainly the case when I amended our Brittany Ferries booking a week ago.

It works ... but only just. As on many school reports ..... could do better!

I can only say that I have rarely experienced any problems with the Booking side of the site. Obviously in the last two years I have perhaps not used it as much as normal years but when I have it's been fine.
