Yes it came back, and has changed its shape, But using the ad blocker extension on Chrome I have blocked the new one too .. Great tip from ET earlier

Just switch it off, forgot about the blooming thing & try sorting out the real problems with the site and app.

Just gone onto my phone internet, I keep the latest discussions page open as a tab, as I do on my tablet. Up pops a FULL width red, not same as orange yesterday but still new club colours

Why why why can't I close or minimise it? Actually alerting me to the offer could be useful.

Irritating green bix now turned into large green circle with white ?. A bit less intrusive,but still brings up the 'original green box with those prefilled questions. As I was checking out a CL page following a newly posted review.

Out of interest I tried several questions of it yesterday evening, all nice questions about the site, every time "no results". I expect that boosted the user stats as they're unlikely to be clever enough to establish actual results or satisfaction of user 😉

Edit I returned to the CL webpage, within the Club, and got the full Monty so had to minimise 😤😭

The latest offering was even worse! Green circle with question mark. and I was about to block it when I thought 'what comes up if I click on it?'. What comes up is a large box with too much text and a place to type your question. This links in to FAQ (what is the point?)

Among the instructions was the advice to click on the button on top right of the box to shrink it down. Button, what damned button..... there wasn't one!! Blocked now.

Are the IT staff not able to have a duplicate copy of the website system to play in? 

On the forum that OH 'runs' it is me that has made any alterations to layouts, colours, contrast, white space, text sizes etc. I pay special consideration for those amongst us with eyesight problems. I do that on a cut down version of the main site so as not to annoy decent folk whilst trying out new ideas. Would that such was the case her.

On my iPad the circle is OK. I'd rather not have it, but it's better than the previous version. At least it now stays small unless you touch it and remains the same when you change screens. They also seem to have removed it from recent activity.

However, on the phone it is another matter. It is still the same size as on the much larger pad and together with the online chat button, much too obtrusive.

If the club sorted out the search facility so that it worked properly then a lot of the other stuff would fall into place.

A little while since I entered a search entitled ‘my bookings’, result was 800 items that had absolutely no relevance to the question.

Not seen any sight of it tonight. Perhaps HO have had enough of all the complaints and have just ditched the whole idea.... hopefully for ever....and given the idiot who thought of it a big kick up the proverbial too!!
