Profile Picture

Very disappointing (but not surprised !!) to see this site still requires Adobe Flash Player to amend the profile picture.....given that Adobe announced an End Of Life (EOL) for Dec 2020 way back in 2017...

Having just replaced my 2013, 27" iMac with the new 2020,i7 model, which will not allow any version of Flash Player to download...it appears I am unable to amend my outdated profile picture for the foreseeable future...obviously three years + notice is not enough for the IT team..

I may have a 'live chat' tomorrow in the hope that someone at EG knows where the IT department is hiding ....

They don't seem capable of doing anything anyway even if you/EG find them! We've been asking for stuff to be done for years & years with no luck.

Other forums manage very well without profile pictures. Is it time for Club Together to drop the idea? 

This subject has been on the go for years if I recall correctly and it has not been resolved for some using non Windows OS. Given the how long this has been an issue I don't see it being resolved with the current software. Perhaps find a friend with a Windows based PC/Laptop and use that to change an avatar. It can still be done as I have noticed that one contributor here has changed his avatar twice in as many days.

We have tried for years to do a picture!  Flash player installed etc,etc, still wouldn’t work.  Now given up and use the grey blobby person!!!😂

I'm currently struggling to change mine.  Which one I have seems to depend on the computer I use.

I adapted one of the little wooden tops on a Christmas theme...

As far as I can see you have changed it three times in the last few days? Have you tried clearing your cache?
