Posted on 24/03/2018 16:21 by Goldie146I've a resizing App on my Ipad - just search in the App store.Very easy to use. It's called "Resizer" or something equally obvious.
Open App
Select photo from Camera Roll etc.
Input pixel width - e.g.600
Tap download icon - it adds the resized image to the same album you got it from (doesn't delete original).
Then reply/open post - click "add photos" - click on the one you want.
Takes minutes (if not seconds)!

Hi,
I have just tried uploading a story to the your stories web page, did it as a word doc and embedded some pictures. Copied and pasted, words all show but no pics. I have seen other posts with pictures embedded in the text, how do you do it please? e.g. this post has pictures in it and more than 5 - https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/your-stories/chasncath/amboise/

Unfortunately the system won't allow embedded photos. I see you have added the five pictures into the original story and you could add more by using the comment box to add another five.
As to adding them into the text as Chasncath does it is a bit more complicated. I use the same method, originally under instruction from Chasncath. It seems only to work in Firefox and involves pictures previously posted online to be dragged into the story by having the story page open at the same time as the picture source, so basically a split screen. You then just set the cursor where you want the photo and then drag the photo over into the text. I generally resize the picture to a width of 700 pixels and I find that works quite well. I appreciate that it appears quite complicated, perhaps not helped by my description of how to do it!!! If you get the hang of it then it is very worthwhile. If you wanted to have an experiment by starting a practise story I can always delete once you have mastered the process rather than risking messing up your current story.
I have not fully read your story yet, but will later. It looks very interesting and I hope a few more that normal make their way over to have a look.

Thank you, I had seen your post and wondered how it was done. Doing this now in firefox browser, just tried to drag some pics into this reply from the computer, I had made the pics smaller but doesn't work for me I'm afraid. Tried copying and pasteing, that doesn't work either.
