Useless mailing and junk mail from our club

Just received about the fourth or fifth  mailing containing a club letter and colour  printed sales sheets, some in colour, asking me to join Green Flag Mayday recovery.

But I already have Green flag Mayday and have had for several years !

If every member is automatically sent this mailing whether they are members or not, what a waste of resources and possibly useless spending of  part of members subscription for printed matter that goes straight in the bin ??

Also the additional leaflets and junk mail inserted within the club magazine also go straight into  the recycle waste bin  - why not put all this advertising within the magazine itself ??

Thanks TW, hopefully I have now managed to kill off the unwanted junk mail.

I always have difficulty in bending down low enough to pick it up off the floor - the wire box behind the letterbox is overflowing, as usual, with rubbish.

Green Flag advertising is paid for by them so there is no cost to the club. The advertisers who use the inserts must think that it is better for them and the club makes a profit by inserting them so everybody should be happy. I assume the realise that their products are not for everyone and a proportion go in the bin but it still works for them.

If you do not want the things, throw them in the bin, but accept that these things benefit the club, so you win whatever.

Yes ,but do not these advertisers realise that they have been sold a pup by their advertising agencies?

If someone irritates me by stuffing their unasked for flyer under my nose I tend to make a positive note to NOT use their services or products ever at all.

Can they claim a rebate from those who have conned them?
