What happened

I posted about downtime over the weekend, the thread has disappeared. Anyhow it does not look like the ability to check availability over more than just weekends has been implemented on the 12th as indicated in the April magazine?

Hi peedee,

I've reopened this discussion as we have had an update to the Late Availability. Our updated Late Availability checker allows you to easily see, at a glance, the available caravan and motorhome pitches on our UK Club campsites for every day of the week over the next three weeks.
To help you find the right pitch, you can also now filter your search by date, UK region, county, individual campsite or even pitch type (if the filter options below are not working for you, please clear your browser cache and try again).

It went live today at 7.30am. Please let me know if you have any issues with this but it should hopefully all be working now. smile

Thank you Rowena, this change should be very useful. I have tried it and was having issues with the filters and it does miss out some sites which actually have availability. I got it it to look at all sites in Cornwall and it did not come up with Godrevy. I will try again with the filters which would not select correctly by region. I was getting sites displayed outside of the region required.

Hi Rowena, Sorry not impressed as OH ex IT said to clear your browser cache before you do anything is very sloppy programming and needs more work so will not bother until much improved.

Ok I have just tried it again and it is now working fine. I think the problem I had with Godrevy was I was looking for Standard Pitch with Awning and of course Godrevy is all grass. That is going to cause some confusion

Thanks and I think this is going to be very useful.

I thought grass was also a standard pitch. Has something changed in hat regard?

Have checked the "new" late availability and noted it no longer give how many pitches and one site seems full on each tuesday  not a particular busy sitesurprised

I suppose if you wanted two pitches, one for a friend on the same days you could phone, that is what you keep telling me to do when there are no available pitches shown.

Exactly my problem ET, the pull down menu shows many different kinds of pitch, in preparation for further changes no doubt.

If you look on an individual site details and and try the booking area it still tells you how many pitches are left per day (when numbers available are getting low.)

I find it confusing that it says "pitches available" then at the bottom "no pitches available."
