Back after 20 years and enjoying it

When I sold my last van in 2001 it was a 10 year old ABI without a toilet, a shower, hot water, central heating but we enjoyed going to our Caravan Club sites with the kids and we had done since we bought the van new a decade before.

So after a gap of 20 years we now have a van which has everything and more (but the penalty is it is MUCH heavier), no kids, just me and the Wife, and the club has changed its name to include Motor Homes.

Only been away in the van twice since buying it but with semi retirement comes free time so we are really looking forward to 'filling our boots'. Plus we are year round caravanners so watch out for us over the dark months as well as the summer.

Really pleased to see CAMC sites are still as beautifully maintained as they used to be as that was a real worry.

Any Rotarians on this site please say hello to as am an active Rotary member (RC Carlisle, in Cumbria) and looking forward to meeting up with them on sites in the future too.
