Hello all! I'm Danny, 27 from West Midlands

This forum is a little different to use than the regular Forum Format but im getting there.

I was told about this forum by a chap i've known many years on the car scene, Hi Jim!

My Mother-in-law is also in the Caravan Club and travel with North London

Me and my Fiance have been keen to get into caravaning for a couple of years now. I've been hanging around on the awesome young-caravan forum for some time now, pestering about silly newbie questions and such, they're a great bunch of folks and welcoming even when we didnt have a caravan.

However we're also saving for our first house so decided to put off buying a caravan a year or two more. That was until my dad decided his health wasn't up for caravaning anymore, and gave me his 1998 Bailey Ranger 470/4. He brought the van from a dealer in 2010 and not had chance to use it before his health got worse. It's condition is a credit to it's past owners and we're over the moon about it.

So a reasonably price towcar was sought as non of the current fleet were suitable. I brought a Volvo S80 (i metioned it on page 16 of "Ultimate towcar?" Thread.)

Car's have always been my hobby so i've put my two away for the foreseable future as i can't bare to part with them.

So we're almost ready to get out there, storage is almost sorted, my car is having towbar fitted next week, all i need now is insurance for the caravan and wait for my CRiS to be sorted.

Anyway i'll quit with the jabbering (I do that a lot :D )

Regards

Danny
