Hi All, I'm Paul & although new to the club & having only had my motor home for a year, I have had past experience of a camper van. Was looking forward to holidaying this year after getting ready over last Autumn/Winter, but covid got in the way as it did for us all. Still was able to visit Isle of Wight for third week of September in which I was lucky that it was probably the last week of Summer weather. Enjoy walking, scenery, geography & history. On that note, in about 5 years when I retire the motor home will become my home for at least 3 years & I shall travel all around the coast of our Great Britain & then crisscross it to see all I have missed in my lifetime. Then I might even get a passport & go across the channel

Enjoy pottering around the small stuff that abounds in our island. You will, however, find such pottering much easier on the continent where facilities for the nomadic proclivities of motorhomes are better catered for.

As has been quoted before Motor Caravans without a "toad" are ideal for "over there" caravans and support vehicles for "over here"wink

Thanks to All for your welcomes. Yes I've heard that we're catered for much better over the river (Channel) but I'm wanting to see my Country first. Looking forward to accompanying you on some rallies next year around the country and have already started to plan 3 different weeks away for next year. Dorset with Durdle door, Lulworth, Corfe and Tyneham. Then North York Moors for Whitby and steam railway. And last but not least another trip to Isle of Wight. Even the driving to & from will be a picture for my eyes....Sad old bugger I know. :-)
