Memory Stick for TV

Right. Those reading my previous posts will realise i have a limited brain capacity. I have bought a little TV for the caravan and now I need to buy a Memory stick. I want to record radio plays and TV programmes from I-player on my laptop and then watch them in the caravan on my new TV. Firstly, is that possible and secondly what kind of stick do I need and how much should I be paying.
