We have just started Caravaning this year. But I am having a slight issue with "noseweight" I drive a automatic 2004 Honda CRV. The nose weight for this car is 60kg. Now to get the nose weight to 60kg or just under. I have to take everything out of the front end of the van eg Battery, spare wheel, no water in the boiler. Even the small chest of drawers with the little fold out table has to be moved back over the axel. But I know if I put all this stuff into the caravan towards the back end. Then I run the risk of the van snaking. Bearing in mind I do have an alko 1300 stabilizer on it. So basically I have to loads everything into the car itself. Which is not to bad as there are only the 2 of us and our small Westie dog. So does this nose weight rule have to be stuck to this limit. Or is there any flexibility going over it slightly. Or any other advise is very welcome.
