Bought a Safefill gas cylinder and filled it up. 15ltrs/8.6kg of propane = £13.06

By no means is this a scientific experiment.

Went off for a long weekend, on a 5 van site no EHU, arrived Friday lunchtime, left Monday mid-morning. Lousy weekend, lots of rain, wind and cold, so plenty cups of tea and coffee (stronger stuff later). Gas for cooking; oven, hobs, hot water, fridge and the space heater on for about 15 hours total (low/med setting) over the weekend. Did turn the water heater off a night and back on the next morning, why burn gas at night.
Got back and topped up the cylinder for the following weekend, cost £5.04 used 5.8ltrs. My gas cost over that weekend worked out about £1.68 a night (3 nights).
Away again, on a rally over the Mayday weekend, (3 nights) about the same gas usage.

So for two long weekends (6 nights), about £10.00 in gas cost:) or 1x6kg Propane at £20.00.:O

But I could be wrong! it was the first time using Safefill.

Yes, there is the cost of the cylinder and I will be fitting a shorter pigtail!
