Power Touch mover spirol pin failure

I've just returned from Cornwall where on trying to engage the Powertouch mover the hexagonal shaft just went round and the mover would not slide back onto the caravan tyre.

I had a look on the internet and found a useful description of how to replace this broken pin. I then went under the van to simply have a look at what might be involved and within three minutes had the broken part in my hands. Another couple of minutes and the broken parts of the pin had been removed and I now await a new pin from Powertouch.

It really is dead easy to do and will save a £60 or so engineer call out. Post back if you are stuck with this problem and I will try to give more detail.
