Definitely no mess my way either ๐Ÿ˜‰

...but some (not you....or me in old days....) find spout filling 'messy' whereas dropping a tab into a large hole shouldn't be tricky for anyone๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

save a fortune, too๐Ÿ’ท

clean cassette, too....

no reliance on site shops๐Ÿ˜‰ (topical)

for those with 'blue' and wishing to use the measuring cap, you can still do this but pour the liquid into the large hole (rather than the spout hole) and shouldn't be too messy that way??

The ordinary Formil bio pods are becoming a little more difficult to get in our nearby Lidl since they introduced the 3-in-1 pods with fabric softener, which also cost more.  We never use fabric softener in our washing machine.

Don't know whether that affects the working of the pods in the toilet, or maybe causes foaming.

I used the 3 in 1 when I couldn’t get any of the ordinary. They seemed to work just as well and no  foaming, but are a fair bit more expensive.

On our recent four day trip to Cambridge I experiment by only using Bio pods (Waitrose, very similar in price to those mentioned and I used what we had to hand) It seem to work quite well. Without going into to many gory details they seemed to break down solids probably better than standard toilet chemicals. Whilst the Waitrose pods only have a mild perfume there was certainly no smell. My concern about foaming did not materialise but that might be down to liquid pods rather than the solid compressed power pods I used before. Once I have got rid of my stock of chemicals it looks like the way forward.
