Peaceful spot

Very peaceful and well maintained site. Excellent mowing! Only 10 minutes to West wittering beach and not much further to Chichester. Very peaceful. Will come again 🙂

Tranquil and peaceful

Lovely CL, suggest a cycle or enjoyment of walking if you want to park your moho up for your stay. We cycled to the coast and also around Medmerry nature reserve; easy to stay away from the crowds if you want to! Owners are there if you need them but, sensibly in these covid times, keep their distance otherwise.

So pretty and peaceful

We have now been to this site 3 times and love it. We sleep so well here and only woken by the ducks quaking in the morning! Lovely soft well mown grass and easy access to site. We usually cycle to the beach or to get supplies or there are cafes and a few pubs nearby. Very friendly and easy booking. Cannot fault it,im sure we will stay many more times. :)

Lovely.

Another hidden gem of a CL! Very peaceful site which suited us down to the ground, the field is large and flat and is far enough from roads as to be silent throughout the day and night. The sound of the Spitfire flying out of Goodwood was beautiful, it flew over the site on several occasions. The local area is nice and not too crowded, we’ll definitely visit again.

Lovely peaceful site

Just enjoyed 6 nights on this very peaceful, well kept and secure site. We were made to feel most welcome, shown the club meadow and pitches, and allowed to choose our pitch. Lovely area for coastal exploration, and pub eateries. It's very dog friendly and our cockerpoo, Wilf, had a great time, we will certainly return. Malc, Ems & the Wilf.

Brilliant

Booked for a weekend away with friends, was not our 1st choice as we wanted closer to Portsmouth (due to reasons for our trip away) So glad we booked and came here. Such a lovely a site. Owners and the family are lovely, and very helpful. We liked that if nothing is reserved you can choose where you want to pitch on site, not allocated pitches, so we and our friends were next to each other. We had a great time on this site and can’t wait to return in future for a weekend away together

First ever caravan trip

As a new club member and recent purchaser of our first caravan, we were eager to try the outfit not too far from the dealer to make sure everything was in order (turned out to be a good idea as there was a fault with the awning), and settled on this site due to the location. As we turned up a bit early, the owners were not around at first, but a fellow caravanner, was able to give us the lowdown of the site, and we chose an area to pitch, the grass was a little bit waterlogged, so the owner, who'd come back and welcomed us, suggested we moved to a better position and we simply pushed our small van with his help nearer the access road in case it rained again. All the CL's facilities were in order, and we were able to set up and test everything, go to a local pub and enjoy a good meal, before getting on with this new experience. The next day the sun came out and there are horses in a nearby field, and we knew we'd chosen a good spot. I don't have experience of other CL's, but to my mind this site provided all we expected, and the site owner was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you want a base to visit the local area, and don't need a shower/toilet block, but just a quiet relaxed place to stay.

OUR FIRST OUTING IN 2017

My wife and I were looking for a CL site near to home and settled on this one, as it was our first ever CL we were a little sceptical. What a surprise, it's a lovely site easy to find and nicely situated for days out. Mr & Mrs Lowe are lovely people who couldn't do enough for us while we were there. We've already booked our next visit and intend to have many more there. If you're looking for a nice site in a peaceful setting this is the one for you, I highly recommend a visit. Happy Caravaners

Lovely sunny level site. Whole family seemed to get involved, even the kids, in welcoming us and were very helpful. Easy access to the site. Toilet and shower would be welcome but their absence did not distract from our enjoyment of our stay there. Excellent base for exploring the Chichester area. Will be going back!
