Back from 4 nights stay

Read the reviews on here before booking, all that has been said is not far wrong. Lovely well kept site in a nice area of Essex. Plenty of places to visit not too far away. As has been said the toilet shower is in one large room, never had any issues with this, all kept very clean. We will certainly be back to this site in the future.

Weekend stay

We stayed at this CL for a weekend, to break our journey south, and really enjoyed it. Arrival and pitching was easy, owners friendly, and good facilities, all in one big room, but it worked fine, a nice big shower especially appreciated! The site is pretty spacious, an L-shape, enclosed by a barn and hedges, with views out over fields at the back, so good privacy and plenty of room.

The perfect weekend hideaway

Back from a wonderful weekend at this lovely site. Arrived on Friday afternoon and despite being a CL the site was very big and we were spoilt for choice as to where to pitch. Surrounded by a tall hedge the site is enclosed but allows for views across the fields. No issues about how to pitch we just pulled up, unhooked and set up, then called in at farmhouse handed over our money and enjoyed the weekend. Owners keep it very tidy and clean, the toilet, shower and information is all in one big room, and although some may not like this arrangement it worked fine for the four outfits staying there. Slight noise from planes taking off from Stanstead but to be honest I enjoyed the sight and within hours you forgot about them. Lovely walks for Jack the Lab, a beautiful area and we will be going back there again for sure!
