Lovely Site

Visited this site in August 2017, weather was fine, this is a little gem of a site, quiet, peaceful and a lovely spot. There is no Electric but this is an added attraction, we have a solar panel and we can use everything we need including the telly. The area is great for local attractions including the gorgeous village of Culross (Curuss) as the locals say. The Abbey cafe has devine treacle scones. The Falkirk wheel is a few miles away with lovely walks along the canal. Normally when I find a nice site like this I like to keep it to myself but I am worried about the loss of no electric sites. Please give them your support. So give this site a try you will love it. Margaret and Rob. Rob is a cyclist and he loved all the cycle tracks around

Great CL

A lovely little CL with views of the Forth river. Very quiet and peaceful site in easy walking distance of the stunning village of Culross. A grassy field that requires blocks they also have matting for motorhomes if it gets too wet, should you need. Lovely homemade ice cream is also available from the very friendly owners.

GOOD

Good CL if, like us, you are fans of basic quiet CLs. But DO NOT USE the TOMTOM CL file to find it, this takes you into the village of Culross instead with some narrow lanes.

Little Gem

This site is a little gem, well off the road so no traffic noise, and has distant views of the Firth of Forth across the fields. We were made very welcome by all the Nelson family. They make their own luxury ice cream on the farm, which is available to purchase, and as you would expect it is very, very nice. There is lots of walking and traffic free cycling direct from the site, Culross the National Trust village, just one mile away is delightful with tea rooms and a very popular pub/restaurant. It is an excellent base to either just relax in the peace and quiet, or visit the numerous attractions close by. We booked for 5 nights but ended up staying for 15, and are looking forward to returning again soon. There are no mains here, but don't be put off, our solar panels kept the battery fully charged during our extended stay in September.  So please give this little site a try before we lose yet another "no mains site" from the network. You will not be disappointed.
