March Weekend at Bournebrook Farm

Access to the CL was easy, entrance just off the main road, there us a hard track into the level grass field, which is large so plenty of space to pitch. We actually had the site to ourselves. The ehu points are along one side of the field . The ground was dry at the time of our stay, but if wet motorhomes could pitch on the track, but would need an extra cable to reach the ehu points. Not sure why a previous reviewer couldn't find the water tap, it's on the same side of the field as the ehu, the tap us boxed in to prevent freezing as site open all year. The CDP is just outside the gate and has hose for rinsing. The farm has some business units, but no noise over the weekend. There is however some traffic noise as the main road is busy. There is also a private road which us also a bridleway that runs past the site, useful for early /late dog walks. We chose the site to visit the rspb reserve at Middleton Lakes which is only a few miles away and a lovely place to visit. Tamworth is a few miles away and has supermarkets, cinema, ice rink and snow dome so not short of things to do. Drayton Manor is also just up the road. Owners leave you to it but Mr Barnes was chatty and friendly when we went to pay. Bournebrook Farm at only £12 pn is a good basic CL , and will use again for our next visit to Middleton Lakes.
