I booked 3 nights here early in 2018, the CL field was not actually open but the owner offered the old sand based paddock to which we agreed. We were told we could pitch where we liked along the fence which backs on to the hook ups the opposite side. We were informed we would likely have the place to ourselves because no one else had booked, which was all well and good. Later the first evening my wife was taken ill so I had to take her home by 9pm. The van stayed over night and I collected it next morning, in effect staying one night. I left a message to inform the owner what we had to do. On the phone the owner refused any refund for nights not used stating she had turned people away, quite ridiculous. I asked if she would refund at least one of the two nights not used and was initially refused. Finally Mrs Collins agreed to refund one night if I called in to collect only. Well after trying twice with no answer I finally gave up and decided to scribe this, such a shame people cannot be honest. Put simply a great place spoilt by the owners strange ways and disingenuous manner.
