We have been using this CL now for several years and have got to know Maurice very well and also several regulars at the site as they seem to return regularly . To be honest I was slightly reluctant to write a review as we wanted to keep it as bit of a secret but Maurice along with Audrey and Tom , who help Maurice while he recovers from illness deserves praise for the excellent condition of the site but more importantly the always welcoming friendly atmosphere . It is set in a lovely area and the dog walking and cycling in the area are fantastic along with some local pubs and also there is fishing nearby and also shopping and fine fish and chips from Harleston . We have been 3 times so far this year and will be returning next month for , un fortunately our final visit this year . It tends to be the only CL we use now as it is by far the best we have been to . Its so peaceful except harvest time and its just a lovely site with trees and hedges all round apart from the gateway . The village has its own store run by the villagers [ Maurice was involved with this but unfortunately cant at the moment ] There is a lovely lady hairdresser , Vanessa who I always use while I,m there to have my hair cut . So our little secret is now out but a big thank you to Maurice along with Audrey and Tom for making each visit a lovely lasting memory
