Picked the right weekend to visit this lovely CL before the Beast from the East arrived! A beautifully situated site which was easy to find and access about 1.5 miles off the A140 . We were told after a very friendly welcome that we could pitch anywhere and advised that a tractor was available if required for our departure. The ground even though it was on grass and surrounded by a moat and ditches was fairly firm and we had no problem on departure. We had views over towards the moated farmhouse and the church. The wc and shower are housed at the back of the farmhouse and although old were kept warm and clean.The free wi fi was an added bonus and worked well.The temperature got chillier outside over the weekend but we were warm and cosy in the caravan. There are no facilities in the village but there is a village store at Stonham barns about a mile away and the pretty village of Debenham approx 4 miles has local independent shops and a co op store. We will certainly return to this CL we had a lovely time.
