We loved our short stay

Two adult and 2 dog 3 night stay and we loved it . Easy access and parking or our MH. Pub and shop in easy walking distance . The shop does take away pizza on a Friday if you pre-order. Hubby loved the fishing on nearly Blagdon Lake and I loved exploring the footpaths with the dogs . Will definitely return . Thank you x

Magnificent Mendip Retreat

Bungalow Farm is the perfect location for a lovely holiday. We have just arrived home from a 4 night visit, and look forward to returning again in the future. The site is exceptionally clean, tidy and well laid out. Lesley and Chris are friendly welcoming hosts. The beautiful village is within a safe 5 minute walk. There’s a lovely church, pub and village shop. The location means that you are only 30/45 minutes away from Cheddar, Weston Super Mare, Bristol, and Bath. The Chew Valley is famous for it’s beautiful lakes, and Cider/Cheese. This is an absolute gem of a CL Gerry Cryer.

Lovely CL site

Used this site as a base to explore the Mendips and surrounding areas including Wells, Shepton Mallet, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the lakes. Owners very responsive to enquiry and booking couldn't be easier. Owners very friendly and helpful. The site itself is immaculate the pitches are level and large. Drinking water, waste disposal and toilet emptying facilities all excellent and spotlessly clean and close by. The village is well within walking distance 5 mins max the local shop is well stocked and has an instore bakery. We drive large motorhome with a tow car and found the access well signposted and large. Thoroughly recommend this site will definately be going back.

First CL and not disappointed.

When the pandemic restrictions were lifted we immediately decided to go away and after studying the club site decided that this location would be ideal fo a few days away close to places of interest. Having never stay at a CL site we did not know what to expect. Entrance to the site was well signed and large and we were surprised to find that we were the only occupants. The site is very well kept , each pitch is a good size and level and the fresh water and toilet emptying were very clean and easily accessible. Behind the pitches there is a large well kept field and beyond this is access to a children's play area that in turn leads to a well stocked village shop and a pub. We enjoyed trips out to Cheddar,Weston Super Mare, Brean Sands and Longleat. We were so impressed with the site and location that we stayed an extra 3 nights. The owners were very pleasant people and easily contactable. We will definitely return

What's not to like?

What a lovely CL. Reality far outweighs the picture. Easy to find from handbook instructions and access is straight forward. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The CL is on the edge of the village with a path direct from the site to a village store and pub. I scored the rating down one point because it is early hay making time and tractors passing close by are a bit noisy. There a many places to visit, Wells, Glastonbury, West on super mare, and the countryside is so pretty. What's not to like? We'll be back.

Great little site

We pick this site as it’s close to home & has great walks for us & the dog, 2 pubs close by & a good shop. The pitch’s are nice & level with a good outlook over fields, looking forward to our second visit here this weekend.

Great little site

We have just returned from Bungalow Farm where we stayed for 4 nights. It is a newly renovated site with a lot to offer. The pitches are level (hardstarding) and well spaced. As mentioned before there is easy access. We received a warm welcome on arrival and some good information on a lovely walk over the fields behind the site. The village is a five minute walk across the fields where there is a Pub and a very well stocked village shop, We didn't eat at the pub as they weren't serving food the evening we wanted a meal but a five minute drive up the road bought us to The Blue Bowl Inn where we had a very good well priced meal. We found the site give us easy access to all the County has to offer being a short drive from the coast and Wells. Good walks and cycle rides through the lanes right on the doorstep.
