Peaceful spot
Easy to find, this is a nice level site with pleasant views across fields. The owners were friendly and told us to pitch where we liked. The facilities are basic but adequate. There was a nightingale singing in the distance at night, clearly heard in the complete quiet. We found a pleasant walk by taking footpaths from just up the road, which led across fields and through a wood to the Downs Link path, which goes for miles, level and shady. There is hard standing but not a lot of it; not a problem, the ground was firm with nice short grass when we were there.
