peace and tranquility

We visited Mrs Beale's lovely site in February and had discussed where to pitch our motorhome with Mike prior to arriving. The field was (understandably) waterlogged due to the usual winter weather! parking on the hard entryway to the field was certainly the best way forward and enabled us to spend an idyllic week in this little bit of heaven. The field is tucked away in a corner of the estate, yet with easy access to the fabulous coastal path, and within striking distance of some lovely scenery and great pubs for evening meals and lunches. Try the (walkable to) Old House at Home, or the nearby (drivable to) Anchor Bleu in Bosham, Crown and Anchor at Dell Quay or the Crab and Lobster at Sidlesham and you will not be disappointed. Wildlife abounds, and this is an area of outstanding natural beauty. In February it was very quiet but could get a little 'livelier' in the summer when the nearby Chichester Harbour activity centre, moorings and marinas fill up. We will certainly try to return for more peace and quiet. Thank you Diana, Mike and Judy.
