Just spent a lovely Easter weekend here. Beautiful views, right next to the canal with 2 pubs within walking distance. There is a lovely farm shop about 10 minutes away that does fab coffee! (And I got to pet a 36 hour old lamb!)
The site owners are a lovely young couple who were really helpful. The site has fresh water & chemical waste disposal but no EHU. There is enough hardstanding just inside the gate to fit one or two vans, so it’s fine if it’s been raining.
Highly recommended if you want a quiet time in beautiful countryside!
A lovely quiet spot
Seems like things might have changed here compared to some of the negative reviews of old. It's a no frills place, one tap and one chemical point but that does nothing to detract from the beautiful peaceful setting. Right next to the canal with too many tempting places to explore than time allowed. Yes, the adjacent bridleway was used by the local residents, but everyone of them was gave a friendly hello and chat. The crown pub was great, the farm shop about 10 minutes walk away is delightful. Definitely one to return to again.
Great Site
Been here before & love the site by the canal plenty of space well worth a stop off.
The App has the incorrect phone number but the Main website has the correct details on it.
Really nice and quiet.
Lovely big triangular shaped field with water and waste in one corner.
It’s so quite and peaceful with plenty of space for everyone. Perfect for canal walks.
The locals use the footpath to get to the canal, and some exercise their dogs on the camp site, but we weren’t bothered as it was a big field. We had a very nice quiet break, and if that’s what you’re after, go here.
We couldn’t find the rubbish disposal so took ours home with us.
As previous reviewer wrote, price is now £15 cash or cheque
Nice site: Pricing and contact details need updating
Note that price is now £15 per night, and the alternate contact details (the mobile number) is no longer valid. Have others have said, a really nice site. Arguably a bit pricey for a no EHU site, but there are other reasons to want to be there.

Laid Back & Delightful
So close to the canal. Somewhat laid back approach but so very peaceful during our stay in July 2021. Defiantly want to book again for 2022
Spacious but a bit pricey
Spent five days here at the latter end of last month. Rubbish disposal is in the yard about 400 metres back up the road and is not readily apparent. Signage regarding pitching too close to the canal has now been installed. There was some overlapping of visitors meaning there were more than five units on some nights although the extensive space can well accommodate this. Whether this is a function of the "Covid" situation or a persistent practice, I don't know. A pleasant quiet location but a bit pricey for a non EHU site.
Gem of a site
Just returned from a 3 night stay at Court Farm, our first visit, however, will not be our last. Great location right next to the canal. Large field. Seen previous reviews about where to site your caravan/motorhome, however, it is clearly marked where you cannot park. The footpath that runs through the site is well used by local villagers walking their dogs, but did not cause us any problems. We had lunch at The Bridge, which is an easy walk along canal from site, lovely food. Great chatting to those using the canals, everyone so friendly. We walked from site into Devizes, had lunch then carried on to Caen Hill Locks, then walked back, lovely walk all along by the canal.
Would certainly recommend this site.
Perfect Stay in Wiltshire
Court Farm is a fantastic site, with access straight into the Wiltshire countryside. We had a lovely few days away on our first trip with a new puppy. Located next to the canal, you can explore a beautiful section of the Kennet & Avon. In addition, there are footpaths that also lead out to the Wansdyke. Previous reviews refer to confusion on where to park, and there are clear signs now that mean you can’t go wrong. We will definitely be visiting again.
One of my favourite sites
We have stayed at this site three or four times now and love it. It is a large field so plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped and with a lovely view. A footpath with people walking dogs and accessing the canal. Nice to see. There are bins and recycling at the main house. Combination lock to the gate and the water both of which were no issue. Great area for cycling. We cycled to the White Horse Hill near to Stanton St. Bernard and also the church at Alton Barnes where we saw a really old Yew tree and spring nearby. Friendly locals. Also easy to walk or cycle to a number of pubs close by. We cycled to the Barge Inn at Honey Street and also the Bridge Inn. On a previous visit we cycled into Devizes and also to take a look at Caen locks. Nice to see the boats along the canal with friendly owners. When we booked had a nice chat with the owner and easy to leave your money at the house when leaving. Planning our next visit!
