WOW! What a fantastic little adult only site! Lionel was not there on our arrival, however there was a board with a welcome message and advising us where to pitch our van. When he did catch up with us the following evening he was most pleasant and informative. The field is on a slope, however with a little manouvering we managed to site the van level. There is a small stream running along the bottom of the field - hence the reason why no children. The facilities are excellent - two fresh water points and a chemical toilet point. Situated in a small shed is a toilet and sink which doubles up as an information room! From the site you can walk through the fields to Bedale (approximately 2½ miles). There are numerous pubs in Bedale and take aways along with a Tesco Express and Co-Op. Ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!
