What a beautiful site this is although can be problematic when pitching due to its slope. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and gave lots of ideas on places to visit. They can also give you maps of local village walks. Due to Covid the toilet wasn't open for use but there is plenty of hand santiser at the water points and elsan point to maintain safe cleaning. Situated just a few miles from Bedale and all that the surrounding yorkshire dales has to offer it is ideal as a base. There is a footpath straight from the site which is great to walk your dogs. You are situated at thr edge of the village and a lical pub. A great base to explore and one we hopento return to in the near future.
