Good,(but).

Jackie gave us a nice welcome as did Jack the sheepdog. Views to the west are great if you stay up near the gate end and pitch at a slight angle to the north west then your not looking at the farm buildings . Great access to Lyme Regis and Seaton. Only thing that spoilt our stay was the farmer swearing and cursing at Jack during a sheep round up, good job no children present, the flock split then it was our turn " bl---y people Gawping putting Jack off " ( we were stood and sat very quietly by our van ) not the sort of thing to make us want to go back. Shame.

Comment from The Club:

Many thanks for leaving a review.  The CL owners have been in touch as they want to address your concerns as they make every effort to ensure people have the best possible time at their site. Unfortunately the incident occurred on the day of the annual sheep shearing which is a very stressful and time pressurised job and the farmer would like to apologise for any offence caused.  As you can see from other reviews the owners always try to be friendly and helpful giving a warm welcome to guests many of whom return again and again.  Thank you for your understanding on what would of been a stressful day.

Great Views from this CL

We enjoyed our stay here at Curlew Farm. Plenty of space here Fantastic views over the Devon countryside Pitches are pretty much level and grass was almost carpet like during our stay. TV signal 100% (you can see transmitter in the far distance) Site backs on to road but its not a problem traffic wise. We had no problem with entry best approached from A35 Raymonds Hill roads here are not unduly narrow for passing other vehicles. Certainly would use this CL again if in the area.

Lovely site.

I don't know why I am writting this review, we have been going to Curlew Fm for many years, and want to keep it our secret CL . The owners are very helpful and friendly, the views are lovely. We will be returning again this year, even after a dissagreement with a gatepost last year, even if apporching from the approved direction be careful if it is muddy the turn is a bit tight inside the gate, saying that we did arrive last year when everywhere was flooded, we had never knowen Curlew to be that wet,but it did dry up fast. Please don't go there we want to keep it our secret, quiet and peaceful site. See you soon Jackie if you have us back.

Ideal for touring the Jurassic Coast

This is a lovely flat site, in an excellent location for touring the area with lovely views. Our only negative points would be the fact the site is next to a main road (which we did appreciate when we booked thanks to Google Earth) and that we arrived from the opposite direction to that used in the book, meaning we had a little difficulty in getting through the gate. Next time (and there will be a next time) we will use the directions in the book.
