Lovely Stay

My wife and I stayed on Anna and Trevor's site for five nights and we could not have been made more welcome by them. The site was perfect for us, very well located and with a fantastic cycle track nearby where I would go for my morning run. There is also a brilliant pub about 3 miles away who make a superb traditional Sunday roast, Anna will give you directions and recommend them as well. We would love to go again!

Thoroughly recommended

If you're looking for ease of access, a flat hardstanding gravel pitch, beautiful views (sea and valley), peace and quiet, and friendly and helpful owners, then this is the place for you.

If there’s a better certificated site I haven’t found it.

This was always going to be be a tricky weather weekend but after we had to cancel twice we were keen to get there. Anna and Trevor were great hosts showing us to our spacious pitch, ideal for a large Motorhome and small car. They even brought us a bottle of wine they would have given us for the cancelled New Year booking! We were able to have a great day at the National Botanic Gardens ( 15 Mins) and WWT Llanelli ( 20 mins) plus walks in the area. When the storm abated we had a great view across the valley to the Gower. Site is well ordered with all the basics but you’ll need your own washing facilities. There is a heritage railway nearby and Kidwelly Castle and Laugherne are a short drive. If you are a rugby fan Parc y Scarlets is a short drive. Tv reception is great and Trevor came to check we were ok in the midst of the bad weather. We were, we prefer these sites and this one is a corker. The access lane is a little narrow but not busy so you would be unlucky to meet anything. Once off that Anna and Trevor have created a wide driveway down to the site. We’ll be back as soon as we can there’s still so much to see.

Tranquil and welcoming

Anna and Trevor are fantastic hosts, excellent communication at booking, clear directions and a wonderful welcome on the day. If you’re looking for some countryside peace and quiet, it’s perfect. Carmarthen and the surrounding area is easily accessible by car/van if you want to explore, so the best of both worlds. There are toilets, recycling bins, drinking water, EHU and a well placed toilet disposal point. Good secure site, with countryside views all around. We were very well looked after, with Anna and Trevor checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, we thoroughly enjoyed our few days and will definitely return.

Swiss Valley Cycle Route

Anna and Trevor made us very welcome during our recent stay. The site is spacious and well organised with great views and no road noise. We particularly enjoyed and made good use of the nearby Swiss Valley Cycle Route, which follows the course of a disused railway line. The route is very quiet, traffic free and offers a variety of scenery. We cycled all the way to the sea front at Llanelli one day, where the Swiss Valley route ends at Sandy Water Park. Cwrty Cledyn is also easy walking/cycling distance to Mynydd Sylen, where there are wonderful views in all directions.

Peace and Quiet!

A lovely start to our first venture in our ‘new’ caravan - Anna and Trevor are kind and welcoming hosts, they took the time to check on us, to make sure we were coping ok, this was much appreciated! Their site is amazingly peaceful and has wonderful far reaching views over the valley. Zero road noise, just a few happy mooing cows in the adjacent field and the owl hoot at night - bliss!! The site has hard standing and easy access from road to pitch. Great location too!

Friendly welcome

We were made to feel very welcome by Anna and Trevor. Very peaceful with only the sound of the birds. Far reaching views. Hard standing area and drive good for all year stays.

Peace & views

Plenty of space on this site & views across the valley & if you look you can even see the sea in the distance. If you want peace & tranquility off the beaten track this site fits the bill & has only been open a short time. We'll done to the owners.
