a site to delight

For our first ever outing (early September 2012) with our Eriba Puck and first ever use of CL's, this was a wonderful choice. The site has oodles of space near to hedges or on hard standing so that 5 campers would still feel that they owned the place. The field facilities achieve a high standard of presentation, and the loo & shower rooms have been done up to a standard verging on the palatial - good quality shower in a good quality fitment, high quality loo, and all done out with a mock black marble effect. Almost good enough to sleep in. The views across the fields to the wooded mountains all around are a delight. Gently embracing but powerful countryside, just a few minutes from Mychenlleth and many another highly visitable place in this part of Wales. Nearest part of the village has no shop or pub, but there is a chapel, and lots of lovely flowers, stream, and country cottages. Just a couple of miles down the road, you'll find the beginnings of the high life, including a guy whose wife sells his fly-caught trout fillets. The owners are friendly and helpful.
