We were here the week leading up to August Bank Holiday, with one other unit! Why???? Its a fantastic location, very peaceful and with the best shower and loo we have seen on any site, CL or commercial. In fact it wouldn't disgrace a 4 star hotel. Unlimited hot water, large shower cubicle and spotlessly clean. The site is on a working farm, but is quiet for all that. The owners are very friendly and lent us detailed maps for local walks. We went to the Dyfi Osprey Project, SE of Machynlleth on the A487, as well as the Ynys-hir reserve a little further on. The main purpose of the trip was to re-visit the Centre for Alternative Technology north of Machynlleth on the A487. I wasn't as impressed as I was in 1976! We will be back!
