Just returned from 4 nights at this lovely CL. We received a very warm welcome from the owner Ann who also walked round the site most days, rain permitting, to check everyone was ok. Pitch 4 had a good sized hard standing area and large area of well cut grass for sitting on. Beautiful views from all pitches towards Pendle Hill. Despite heavy rain we had no problem with any water logging. Good walks direct from the site up to the local fell. It would be a nice walk to the nearest pub in West Bradford but uphill all the way back. Flat walks along the nearby river Ribble and easy access into Clitheroe, a pretty market town and worth visiting. Very handy having water and drainage on the pitch and free wifi an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay especially noting how peaceful it was. A well run, friendly place to stay and as it’s not too far from home we hope to return.
