Gloucestershire Site

Site is well located and very easy to get to. Nice wide drive entrance and then a short track up to the field. Taps and EHU to all pitches, grey waste can be pipped into the hedge behind. There was a bit of road noise, but it wasn't too intrusive (more due to the speed of vehicles than because the roads were busy). The spacing of the pitches is a bit odd, we ended up the on the last pitch by the gate, feeling like we were practically on the drive with the caravan next us so close we could hear them chatting. Also close to the bins and waste disposal. We didn't need an awning but there would have been even less room if we had. The other units on site were much better spaced out, especially the far end which seemed to have three times the space of everyone else. If some pitch markers of some sort were put in this would probably help to even the spacing out. The outlook from the pitches was very nice, over the fields towards the railway. It was lovely watching the whole family moving the sheep. All the pitches got the sun. Rose was very welcoming. Booking easy via the website, payment online.

Fabulous CL

What an absolute gem of a site, we stayed at the site in August, a very warm welcome, covid safe each pitch had a sanitizer and also at the bins and elsan. Grass cut very short and well maintained. Stunning views, ideally situated , the site had a honesty shop, can highly recommend the home made cakes 🍰🍰. We will definitely return.

Scenic Sun Trap

We stayed here while walking the Winchcombe Way. What a wonderful place - view from caravan is just lovely over the sheep field to the hills. Fully serviced pitches make life very easy. Rose has made very effort for covid safety providing sterilising sprays at key places. Site has easy access for larger caravans.

Already booked again for next year!

We have just recently returned from spending two weeks on Elms Farm and we can honestly say it’s been one of the loveliest and most relaxing of caravan holidays we’ve had in a long time. The site is beautifully maintained by the owners and the views from the pitches are simply stunning. Our young daughters loved the open space and seeing the farm animals. The owners are extremely welcoming and hospitable; we’ve already booked again for 2021!

We’ll be back!

Can’t wait to return to this site. Only stayed two nights as that’s all they had available at short notice. Easy to find and easy access through a wide gate. The site is very neat and tidy with short grass that is collected and also has the benefit of electric and water on each pitch. Surrounded by rolling hills, it is a delight. Fantastic dog walks, our Golden Retrievers loved it, but must be kept on leads on site due to sheep in fields. We walked into Gretton village approximately a mile away which was lovely and scenic. Visited Winchcombe and Tewkesbury and enjoyed both. Hopefully will discover more on our next visit.

Perfect.

Lovely 4 nights here at Elms farm CL. Easy access to the well kept site. Grass kept nice and short. Covid measures included sanitizer to each tap on each pitch and also at bin/elsan point. Walkways maintained around fields so good for dog walks. Honest shop selling a small selection of essential food items plus delicious home made cakes by Rose, the owner. We would be happy to return to this site.

What a gem!!

What an absolute gem this site is, from the lovely warm welcome to the friendly good bye!! We have just had a fabulous two week stay here at Elms Farm and really couldn’t praise it highly enough! The views are spectacular, the sheep are amazing and brilliant to watch, the grass is kept lovely and short, there is a small part of the barn that has fresh eggs, homemade cake, milk and a few other essentials and so many great places to visit nearby you couldn’t get bored. Plus lots of walks, bike rides, dog walks etc. Thank you Rosie and Martyn we will definitely be returning.

Perfect

Stayed at this site last weekend. Directions easy to follow. Access to site is easy and plenty wide enough. Site very well set out and maintained, grass low and no cuttings. EHU and water to each pitch. Well spaced pitches too all with a lovely view of the hills and surrounding fields. Very well set back from country lane so no road noise and a security gate which is locked at 11.30pm. It's a working farm so gate can't be locked before then I suspect but we certainly never saw anyone that shouldn't have been there. Friendly welcome on arrival by Rose, cooked breakfasts are also available if pre-booked at the B&B. Local and easy access to many areas of beauty - Broadway, Winchcombe, Stow and of course Cheltenham if you fancy a bit of shopping. Fish & Chips from Winchombe were very good and would recommend. Will definitely return to this site, it is perfect for a long or short stay you can't help but enjoy the peace and quiet. Oh and you get to see the GWR steam train go back and forward in the distance a couple of times a day too, but the noise is nothing of concern and is actually really quaint.

Beautiful CL

We Have now been to Elms Farm twice in the last few months, this is such a lovely site, grass very short and no bits of grass in the van. The owners are so helpful and there is not problems with bigger outfits, peace and quite and the views are to die for, just wish it was a little closer to home but, we will be returning, thank you Rosemary we love your site.

Idyllic Spot

I can only echo all the lovely things that have been said about this site already, they are all true! It is a beautiful spot, and well placed for many attractions including the Prescott Speed Hill Climb, which is in cycling distance, walking in the spectacular countryside and cycling. We will definitely be back next year!
