Nice location but beware entrance!!
Have just returned after 5 nights. Totally agree with other comments- nice location but in need of some TLC. The road noise didn't bother us as we were on a pitch a little further away from the road. The Camel Trail is accessible for walking via a path through the woods from the rear of the CL which is very pleasant alongside the river. If using bikes you will have to go uphill on the road to the Bourough Arms.
Worse bit...the access. If coming from Bodmin direction the entrance is a VERY sharp left hand turn after a bridge. We had to reverse back out onto the busy main road in order to make the turn. There is a nasty hump on the entrance and out twin axle nearly "bottomed out".
They have clearly done some work to improve the entrance but still tricky for longer single axle, twin axles or motor homes. If coming from Wadebridge direction it would be much easier to access the site.
A potentially fabulous site spoils by access.
