Two day stay in November

We stay at the Freke Arms CL for two nights, Saturday 15/11 and Sunday 16/11. Easily found following instructions, The Landlord, David, came out to meet and greet us and show us to our pitch.  The site is adjacent to the road, which is busy but the noise is not too intrusive.  The water and disposal point are are both easy to use.  We had a meal in the Pub on the Saturday night and it was excellent, as was the service.  The pitches are hardstanding but access to them is grass and the one we were on was down a slight slope.  We had loads of rain on the Sunday night and as a result we could not drive off and needed a local farmer and his sturdy tracker to pull us the ten meters or so to the gate and safety of the Tarmac pub drive.  David was very helpful in arranging for the tow and the farmer flatly refused my offer of funds.  We enjoyed our stay if not the getting stuck but the site, the food and especially David made our stay enjoyable and we will return, if allowed!  Thank you David and Anita we enjoyed our stay
