Brilliant 2nd visit!

We first visited Garffrwd 3 years ago, and loved it. On this occasion we stayed for 3 weeks, arriving on the first day they re-opened after lock down. Once again, we had a wonderful time. Our grandchildren enjoyed the freedom to explore, visit the horses, and just be free again after being cooped up for so long. The site is very well maintained, and was only completely full on a few nights over the weekends. We enjoyed excellent meals at the cafe and walks around the fishing lakes, with my husband escaping to enjoy some peace and quiet fishing, catching lots of trout, and one lovely trout caught for dinner. There are so many lovely places to visit, with the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Birds of Prey centre on the doorstep, with free return entry within 7 days making it great value for money. The flying displays at the Bird of Prey Centre were excellent. We also visited Tenby, the Gower, LLansteffan Castle and beach - so much to see within a reasonable distance. Three weeks wasn't enough to see everything! Excellent meal at the local-ish pub, The White Hart. Huge thanks to Jamie and Linda and their lovely family for their warm welcome, excellent hospitality and kindness to our grandchildren. Thank you.
