A 5th Wheel adventure!

This site is a real find and we stayed here for 3 nights in early January 2019. Site approach is a long straight road and care is required to spot the sign. With a 12 Mtr rig we had no real issues accessing but took it slow and careful. Down track and first right up an incline before reaching the farm. Pitches are a bit tight but set out around a circular access road. We were lucky to be the only campers as if 2 or 3 other pitches had been booked it would have been tight. We telephoned before to confirm access and availability which was met with helpful guidance and instructions. EHU worked fine and apart from a bit of water pipe freezing due to early hard frost all went well. Site is exposed and we endured a windy night but the views of Loch Lomond are to die for! Local deer paid an early morning visit and the walks, scenery, nature and local wildlife are stunning. We went on a Loch Lomond cruise, Balloch walks and the site location is excellent for exploring the local area. The Oak Tree in down the road served a nice beer and the food looked excellent. We will return here again (off peak) for sure.
