The directions are completely wrong, we eventually found the site by accident after travelling along a road with the hedges scratching my car and van on both sides and we never did see the Hotel which is a key waypoint. On arrival we were met by someone who introduced himself as the site warden, he told us that the site fees had been increased, as we had an e-mail from the owner two weeks previously confirming the fees we did not pay the increased rate. We were also told that the site was overbooked but that the warden's van did not count (?), even so there were seven vans on site. The warden said that the electrical supply to the site was a total of 5 amps and that boiling a kettle would blow it. We did wade through three foot high stinging nettles to plug in but only used it to charge batteries. The grass had been cut at some time but the cuttings had been left, the grass had grown a further four or five inches which, as it was wet, made a real mess. I appreciate that the owners husband was in hospital and hope he makes a full recovery but that fact can not excuse most of the above.
