We didn't want to leave this cracking site! OK - there is no electric or mobile phone coverage but the stunning setting more than makes up for that! The grass is closed cropped by the local sheep population - the water and chemical disposal point are basic but ample. You can charge the caravan battery in the shed at the site entrance. There is an excellent Co-op as you leave Portree on the road to Hinnisdale and fuel is reasonably priced in the town. The CL is 2 miles in from the main road - arrive, set-up, put the kettle on or open a bottle, sit back and RELAX. The Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock are must see places while staying on the Isle.
