Virtually perfect site.

What a great site with owners to match. Tim and Diane were always on hand if needed, but not `in your face`. A beautifully maintained site with cut grass collected (how much neater that keeps the place with no clippings blowing about).Clean toilet and shower - shower pressure could have been a bit stronger, but hey, it was hot it was wet and it was free! Two of the pitches are not really wide enough to put an awning up - we did and two foot of it encroached onto the grass, but we managed ok. No complaints, only the two `niggles` so well done Tim and Diane. We will certainly put this site onto our favouites list.

Best CL site we have ever been to

Well where do we start extremely warm welcome from Tim & Diane so friendly and informative about the site and surrounding area. Very clean and tidy in all aspects from the facilities to the pitches. The views are truly lovely and the site is very quiet and situated in a very handy location. Walking and cycling is perfect and there is a really nice pub in the village of Tetford easy walking distance. There is a very useful information room and even a lock up location for your cycles if required. Tim & Diane informed us about an owl that pays a visit over the meadow in the evening and the wonderful king Fishers by there fishing lake which you are able to use. There attention to detail is a real credit to them both and if Carling invented CL sites this would be the model, would we return, you bet we will, thank you both very much.

Fantastic views

We recently stayed here for the first time and were very pleased with it - spotlessly clean and beautifully kept. Tim and Diane were so welcoming -a lovely site in a stunning situation.

Beautiful, peaceful, well run site

We have just spend five nights at this CL and it was in all ways perfect. The pitches are level, the site is beautiful and so peaceful, the dog walk on site and the walks surrounding are varied and plentiful so both us and the dogs were contented. The hosts were very welcoming and the facilities very clean and all was very well looked after. There was so much that you can do and see that we will definitely return. The only problem is that it is such a good place to stay that we do not want too many people discovering it!

Perfect

Just got home after five nights at this lovely site. It was our first time in the Lincolnshire Wolds but it won't be our last. Would have loved to stay longer but they were fully booked. Great level pitches with fantastic views across the wolds. Facilities are very good and kept perfectly clean. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and this is a beautiful, quiet part of the country. Will be back as soon as possible.

Excellent site

Had a 4 night stay in March. This site is the best cl we have stayed at (and we've been to quite a few) the site is very quite, picturesque, with very friendly owners.  The shower/toilet block is absolutely immaculate worth every penny...will be returning soon. Thankyou for a great stay.

Great access to the southern part of LIncolnshire Wolds

We stayed at Grange Farm for 5 nights over New Year 2015/16 which was a return visit for us. This is a super CL with probably more than we, as a motorhome, really need regarding facilities but in the winter months it’s nice to be able to have a long hot shower without using up your entire fresh water tank in one go! The free Wi-Fi was an added bonus. The owners were very friendly and non intrusive and passed through the site walking their dogs most days, so if you did have a query etc., they were on hand. The area has some good walks around the villages of Tetford, Salmonby, Belchford & Fulletby. The ridge by Bluestone Heath Road has some great views towards Lincoln one way & the Lincolnshire coast the other. Our saviour for four out of the five days was The White Hart at Tetford which trebles as a pub [roaring log fire, good selection of real ales & friendly landlord] , tea rooms & village shop [essentials only though]. It was strange how the end of all our walks happened to pass The White Hart! So 10 out of 10 to Diane & Tim for their superb CL.

Grange Farm CL, Salmonby, Horncastle - Lovely CL

Beautifully kept and run CL with a warm, friendly welcome from the owners, Tim and Diane (and also Flossy and Wesley the lovely lurchers and William the handsome horse). The hard standing pitches are well spaced all have fantastic views. There is free wifi, spotless loos and shower and also laundry facilities and a comprehensive information room together with a mown dog walk and even the gravel road was raked! The service area is also spotlessly clean and tidy - the best we have come across on a CL. There is a lovely fishing lake in the grounds of this pristine CL and also 3 stunning pet friendly self catering cottages (out of view of the CL) ideal if friends without caravan or motorhome wish to join you! It's a short walk into the nearby village which has a dog friendly pub (which also doubles as the local village store) that serves food but we didn't actually eat there. We found plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful

What a stunning little CL.  Well thought out pitches, hard standing and well kept lawns between pitches and the edges. Beautiful views over the Lincolnshire Wolds.  Husband fished in the lake and had a few Rudd, Perch and tench.  Plenty of footpaths and the country lane to have a wander in.  Free WiFi was a bonus.  We take our Ragdoll Cat with us and fasten him up (like you would a dog!) he was a bit puzzled by the sight of chickens wandering about the CL, but luckily no chicken was harmed when he set off in hot pursuit of this strange creature.
