Fantastic site

Perfection for us, mowed grass, water taps and bins at every pitch. Quiet, lovely views and bus really close to Lyme Regis. Such a bargain.

peaceful and well kept

We used this as a stop over site on our way down to Cornwall. It was perfect. well kept, clean and exactly what we needed. really cheap including electric hook up. we managed to go for a nice walk too although you can't walk easily down to the cliffs as there is a private estate in the way. But the site itself is just right.

dont tell anybody

Just returned after having spent three weeks at Green Lane Farm. Excellent site, easy to find and very nicely kept. Grass cut regularly and collected. Water at each pitch plus a dust bin which is emptied regularly. There is a social club on the main road next the garage and the drink are very reasonable. Café at the garage which is quite different which serves breakfast.. Not cheap but was quite nice although having cost us £18.00 for two tots breakfast and two teas a little over priced I felt. 9A bus at the top of the lane was very handy for Lyme Regis, Axmouth, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exeter used this service a lot during our three week stay. There is a Tesco super market in Seaton with a petrol station for filling up the car I think based on the travelling distance from home and the site we shall be making this a regular holiday stop. Mrs Powell is a ,lovely lady and makes you very welcome but not over the top. wat

Just what a CL should be

We have just had 3 days on this lovely site - just what a CL should be all about. Rural, agricultural and peaceful. I drive a 4.5 ton Kon Tiki and access was very easy, well signposted and across firm grassland. No problems. Plenty of room, even though the CL was full, with no overcrowding. Early mornings, late evenings and often most of the day, watched the rabbit kittens playing around and under the vans. Fresh water at all pitches and admittedly basic but perfectly functional waste disposal. Excellent value. Yes, the site up the road has hookup and, arguably better views, but they don't take motorhomes. Easy 5-min walk to the village bus stops, with a 1 hour service both east and west. If you are feeling really brave, visit the Rousdon Village Bakery. Excellent food if a little "alternative" in its approach. You'll either love it or hate it - but you will have to go to find out which.

All you need.

I agree with the last review except the field was sadly resting from the cows! I had a lovely stay there. If you want an even better view and EHU just up the road CL has stunning views as I peeped in. But quite content with my lot and kind neighbour who helped with a difficult unhitch.

Well Maintained, Peaceful, Friendly CL.

A quiet, unspoilt CL with a welcoming host. Ample size pitches with water and bins at each. Back to nature with cows sharing our field (all behind a fence of course but the rabbits take no notice of it!) We cycled to Lyme Regis and Seaton (have to walk the hill and it is along the road), but there is an open top bus as well as the regular bus service. The bakery is a delight. Thanks Muriel.
