FRIENDLY SITE

Spent two weeks at this site and wished it was longer. Perfect location for visiting the Cotswalds . Short drive to Broadway , Bourton on Water, Stow On The Wold . Also within easy distance of Warwick Cirencester and almost anywhere in the Cotswalds. Very dog friendly . Neil and Sue the owners were so helpful and friendly and made us feel most welcome . Very peaceful tranquil location where the stars in the sky seemed like you could grab hold of them . Absolutely loved our stay at Green Pastures and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break in a perfect location . We will be back without a doubt.

Fantastic Site

Just got back from a week's stay at this fantastic site. The site is quiet just bird song and the wildlife to keep you company, We watched deer playing in the horse field. Would certainly recommend to anyone who is wanting to visit the area. Sue & Neil are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and are always on hand to answer any questions you might have. Will certainly be going back next year. Sandra Pete & Fynley the Great Dane

Beautiful site

We spent two very pleasant days at this site. The site is easy to enter, and has a gravel drive to the field. Water taps and electric are all easily accessible, and have hand sanitizer next to all the points. The views across the fields are stunning. The site is really well run, and has recycling bins, and chemical disposal in the yard. Sue and Neil are always at hand for any problems. We will definitely revisit

Blissful!

Stayed April 2021 for 5 Nights. Most warm welcome on arrival from Owners Sue & Neil. Beautiful setting. Quiet. Easy to navigate too through book recommended route. Easy setup on grass. When plugging in to the very new electric points you also need to turn on a switch after plugging in! Views all around are to countryside. Footpaths nearby. Close (approx 3.5 mile) to pretty little village of Broadway. Situated therein is the Lygon Arms Hotel plus the delightful Hunters Tea Room in the High Street. There is also a street Vendor couple who sell ice creams. Very enjoyable indeed. Nearby is the and the Broadway Tower. A pleasant walk that you can do from the village centre. Be advised it's about a 755' ascent. We also managed a 2.5 hour bit of fun on the local GWSR heritage railway. The track runs from Broadway to Cheltenham Racecourse. Check the GWSR website for train schedule information. It's a very good CL site from which to explore the local Cotswold area. We were fortunate to have glorious weather too. Very happy to highly recommend a stay at this CL site.

Great base for cotswolds

Just stayed at green pastures cl for 2 nights in September 2020, From the moment we booked this in August we knew if would be right, sue and her husband neil were so quick to respond to our booking request. On our day of arrival clear instruction was sent via simple text regarding our pitch and site facilities, so easy to follow. This is a working small holding, with beautiful grounds and out buildings, but also very homely, and sue who is very hands on can't do enough for you, she clearly loves animals especially dogs. It's our first time in this area and will certainly come back as this is a great base for seeing all the history and beauty the cotswolds has to offer, Broadway is stunning as are so many places in the area too many to mention. Moving on tomorrow SADLY.

Wonderful

We stayed at Green Pastures for 8 nights including the August Bank Holiday weekend. As in previous reviews, the efforts made by Sue and Neil to make the site and our stay Covid secure were commendable. They were the ideal hosts, friendly and approachable but not ‘in your face’, so to speak. The site is as described with plenty of space in the meadow for five units, the views are far-reaching across the paddock where the horses graze. We would have no hesitation in recommending this site and hope to return if overseas travel continues to be restricted .

Super site

We spent 4 nights here earlier this month (August 2020) in glorious weather and I cannot praise Neil & Sue highly enough. The efforts to make the site Covid secure are commendable. We felt perfectly safe. As others have said, the location is excellent and very convenient for Broadway and the northern Cotswolds. We hope to return, alhough we can't be as lucky with the weather, or can we?

Superb CL Green Pastures

This is a brilliant CL, The site is in a very spacious and well maintained field at the rear of the small holding property. The views from the caravan are of unspoilt fields with horses grazing and Broadway Tower on the hill in the distance. The site is very quiet with very little traffic noise and the air is filled with bird song. It has EHU and water in the field with toilet disposal in the adjacent yard.. There are toilet and shower facilities on site but currently (July 20) not open due to Covid 19. This CL is run by Sue and Neil who are perfect hosts.. as are their 2 small dogs who happily come to greet you with tails wagging. Sue thoroughly cleans the taps and common use facilities 3 times per day and there are bottles of hand sanitiser available at these points. We felt perfectly safe and not at all at any risk due to the precautions taken by the site owners.

Green Pastures is approx 5 minutes drive away from Broadway and the surrounding area is lovely with some gorgeous villages within easy reach, A lovely site and well worth a visit.

Wonderful CL

We were house hunting in the area and booked here because it was in the centre of our search area. It is a beautiful location only a couple of miles from Broadway. Sue was more than helpful and everywhere is sanitized regularly, which is unfortunately what is required at present. Sue even contacted an estate agent friend of hers to try and find properties fitting our requirements. The location is beautiful overlooking the paddocks where the horses are grazing. If you are looking for a CL in this area this is it. Give them a ring.
