Excellent

Our first time visiting greenacres we have spent two nights here with our dog who has also enjoyed himself nice walking area for him to walk and he was made most welcome. Hence what a previous review someone made about dogs not being welcome this is so Not true. Also we paid a brilliant price for two nights with no extra cost. Fabulous. The owners where both very welcoming and helpful with area information, local pub and shops well kept pitches clean and tidy. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer but on our next visit we defiantly will. Thank you we will return soon Chrissy, Colin , & Kobi the dog 🐶

Excellent Well Run CL Site

Very welcoming and helpful owners, well run clean site with plenty of room between plots, the site is also very secure protected with large electric gates. Lots of places around this area to visit, just a few minutes to Knott End, the main car park has all day free parking, from this car park you can catch the bus into Blackpool, or as we preferred take the short ferry to Fleetwood then the tram to Blackpool, stopping at Clevelys on the way. We found plenty of places to visit around the area such as the old market town of Garstang. A nice little touch is the information area that the owners have set up where you will find maps and information about the surrounding areas. The site is also nice and quite just to sit and relax and as stated above with loads of grassed area to sit in. Thank you Martin and Linda for an enjoyable weekend

Great Site

We spent four nights at this well run CL. The owners were both friendly and helpful. The pitches were generously sized, three hard standings and the remainder grass. Clean and tidy toilet facilities and the use of a washing machine if required. The bus stopped outside the campsite and was the link from Knott End to Lancaster. There were plenty of lanes suitable for cycling and also many footpaths in the surrounding area.

Lovely cl

Lovely cl - owners are very friendly - good value for money - one of our favourite cls - ideal location for many tourist spots - there is a foot ferry across to Fleetwood from where you can get a tram or a bus into Blackpool. We visit at least twice a year - and more if time allows

Not dog friendly

A pleasant site but not dog friendly as no where to walk dogs on site, and dogs not allowed on the grass. The site has many such rules and the owner states on arrival if you use to much electricity he will charge you extra for it !! I would not return

Our new favourite for long weekends

Lovely CL with easy access from road. Martin and Linda are great hosts, helpful but without being intrusive. Knott End is a 5 minute drive away and has all the shops you need. We look for peace and quiet in a site and found it at Greenacres. There is some road noise but we didn't find it a problem. We will definitely be returning.

A GREAT LITTLE CL

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely well kept site. We stayed the early May bank holiday 2017. Although the weather wasn't very warm, the welcome from the owners certainly was. There is good access from the main road. The site offers level pitches, some hard stand, some grass. There are electric hook ups for all. A toilet, laundry room and information of local points of interest are provided. The owner is very friendly and deserves to do well. A slight criticism is the road noise but as others have said, don't let this put you off as it ebbs in the evening. So if you are looking for a well kept site in this area then look no further than Greenacres, we would certainly recommend it.
