This CL was well worth the 266 mile journey to get there !! We turned into the site and were greeted by a blackboard with our name and pitch number on it and a polite 'Thank You'. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and having set up and found the water point and waste bins, proceeded to find the owners. The new owners, Phillip and Denise, took over the CL in January and they are a lovely couple, warm and welcoming and very friendly. They have made some changes since taking the CL on and have removed the Dickensian toilet and there are no large dogs roaming around either. All the pitches are slightly sloping and pitch 5 is no worse than any other; Phillip and Denise told us that, since they took the CL on, it was one of the most popular pitches. We were very fortunate that we had the whole CL to ourselves for most of our stay. The toilet point is easily located near the bottom gate, which allows easy access off site and we used this to get our unit of site at the end of our 11 day stay. The site is well kept and has lovely views across the valley. You are only 6 miles from Tenby and there are lots of family friendly attractions not very far from the site. All in all, this is a great location for a holiday. Definitely one to come back to again. There is only one note of caution. The turn off the main road is easy to find, but the CL sign is not overly clear, but the owners are aware of this. The road to the site has good passing places and as you approach the CL entrance you will need to veer to the right as the entrance is a 180 degree turn in, but not too tight. The other club member who was there had managed it with a twin axle caravan. Certainly the bottom gate makes leaving the site easy. In short, we had a great week in a beautiful part of South Wales on a wonderful CL. It is well worth a visit.
