5 star site.....

On arriving at the site we got a friendly welcome from john and Nessie. We were given a large welcome pack to keep for the duration of our stay. This was full of different activities and kept up to date. We received the code for free wifi and the speed was great. The site is lovely and tranquil with some fab views. A lovely relaxing site which we hope to return to when were next stopping.

First Class CL

Very friendly welcome. Excellent information pack - full of up to date info, very helpful local parking disc and even a small note book. Wifi access is included and of the highest speed. Bargain pitch fees for a first class CL site. Highly recommended.

Lovely Site,great value

On arrival we received a warm,friendly welcome from John and Nessie to their site. The information pack given on arrival was ours to keep until departure and was brilliant ,full of useful suggestions and guides to the area and even included a parking disc. We had a very pleasant quiet 3 night stay with good views in a well kept field field with the bonus of free wi fi.Thank you.I can certainly recommend this site and will definitely use it again when on our way north. Peaceful and Tranquility

Upon arrival, reception received by John and Nessie was outstanding. Stunning views. Downside is access and eggress in and out of this CL site. Thanks to the help of John's tractor, it got the caravan onto the pitch and out of the pitch when leaving. Due to constant wet weather the car had to be parked next to their home. Do not recommend motorhomes to come here if wet weather. Otherwise a stunning relaxing site. Will definitely come back.

Yet again another lovely stay with John and Nessie . On our arrival he told us they had all their harvest in, so we had a choice of three fields we could take our Hamish ( golden lab ) to run free .Hemplands is the perfect CL for short or long stays, highly recommended.

A little gem

This site has great views its very very quiet the owners are the most friendly and helpful people you could meet anywhere even when you have got stuck through no fault of the site just my lack of concentration ,out comes the tractor and hey presto sorted thank you.The most comprehensive welcome pack i have ever had anywhere.I have travelled extensively.great for dog walks,close to dumfries and shops and restaurants.

Fabulous, peaceful site

We had the most lovely welcome from Nessie - right from the emailed confirmation through to meeting her face to face. The site is so peaceful and quite, nothing but a few sheep and the odd tractor to disturb the silence. We had Mr Ferguson our choccy lab with us and he says a great big thank you to Nessie as he was able to run free in the field, rather than having to be a good boy on his lead. So, we give this site 100% for everything - if you want peace and quiet, with nice owners - this is the site for you! Thanks again Nessie and John - we will be back! Oh yes, the sunsets are amazing too!

Wonderful site for exploring the area and so relaxing - if your'e like us and actively seek out the quieter non invasive CLs try this one - owners very helpful and friendly with WFI as well 10/10

perfect site

hi we were here for 4 nights in july and found it to be one of the best cl sites we have ever been on. it was very clean and well looked after and the owners were really nice and friendly, we would definetly recomend this site for a nice quiet break.

Perfect site

Perfect site for peace and Quite. Lovely views, very friendly and nice greetings from John & Nessie on arrival. You feel like you are out in the country, but you you are only a few mile from Dumfries.site well maintained
