The owners on this site are lovely. Really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The site itself is reached down a narrow no-through road and has beautiful views to the surrounding countryside. We did not use the facilities given the current covid situation so cannot comment but we were greeted upon arrival by Suzanne and David and bid farewell on our departure! We were given a folder with lots of really helpful bits of information in: where to eat, where to walk, etc etc. There were plenty of beautiful walks we were able to do direct from the site: Golitha Falls and Sibleyback Lake amongst them. Truly stunning scenery and not far from Liskeard for shops etc so an ideal location with everything around. Great dog walk, pitches well spaced out and we would definitely return without any doubt. If I had to try to find fault at all, it would be the road. Given it is a no-through road, and quite narrow, we were surprised at how much traffic actually uses this road and therefore there is some road noise but nothing that should put you off visiting this lovely part of the country - especially if you are into walking and just relaxing in beautiful surroundings. We were unfortunate that it rained most days and was very windy but I am sure it is even more spectacular and enjoyable when the sun is shining in the summer months. Thank you Suzanne & David! We will be back for our cream tea in the not too distant future!!!
